Motets & Madrigals

JBO’s chamber choir and recorder ensemble perform sacred motets and secular madrigals from the Renaissance through the late Baroque. We start our tour in Italy and make our way northward through France, Germany, and England, exploring works of Palestrina, Gesualdo, Arcadelt, Praetorius, Schutz, Bach, and more.
